Klimmi: fascia therapy that is easy on your fingers
Are you a physiotherapist who works with their bare hands every day? Do you already have pain or even osteoarthritis in your finger joints? Then ARTZT thepro Klimmi is exactly what you need. Klimmi is not just another fascia tool, but was specially developed for professional therapists to relieve the hands during several hours of treatment every day.
For decades, physiotherapists often use nothing but their own hands and fingers in every treatment session. Of course, in the long run this can affect the joints. Painful hardening and osteoarthritis can be the result. And this is exactly where Klimmi comes into play: simply placed in the hand, the ‘nose’ on the underside replaces your own finger. The force applied comes only from the wrist.
With Klimmi, the necessary shear movements for tension and adhesions in the fascia tissue can be performed just as efficiently as with your thumbs and fingers. This way, the axial load on your finger joints is eliminated. With a little practice, you can also feel adhesions in the tissue and trigger points. The small silicone tool does not apply pressure at specific points, but instead focuses on mobility and thus suppleness of the tissue. True to the motto: ‘A nice pain is what it should be!’
Available degrees of hardness:
- Soft (purple): for small areas such as the forearm and neck
- Hard (grey): for large areas such as the thigh and deep-set tissue
